Rather than continuing to lower interest rates and expecting a different result (The Editorial, Feb. 22), would it behoove the powers that be to consider trying something different—and raising the rates? As one of the few countries in the world where a saver could make a reasonable return on money sitting in a bank account, would that not perhaps promote international investment into Canada?
